Joanne Piorkowski, 59, of St. Olaf, formerly of Oelwein, died at Scenic Acres, St. Olaf on Sunday, October 16, 2016 of natural causes.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Fayette. Visitation will continue following the service until 8:00 p.m.

She was born July 14, 1957 in West Union, IA, the daughter of Henry "Hank" and Marion Seago. Joanne graduated from North Fayette High School in 1975.  She married Richard Piorkowski on October 27, 2010.

Joanne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking and her lunch outings.

She is survived by her husband Richard; brothers: Don Seago, Jim (Robin) Seago, Tom Seago; sisters Connie (Kert) VanGorder, Jamie (Dan) Seago, Teresa (Noah) Froelke and many nieces and nephews.

Joanne is preceded by her parents Henry "Hank" and Marion Seago.
